Europlast heat shrink film has been studied, designed and produced to comply with European and German standards in terms of Reaction To Fire.
Firstly, the Euroclass standard means that the film is legally fire retardant in every country of the European Union. Secondly, the B1 standard means that the film is also flame retardant according to German standards (valid only in Germany).
The Europlast fire certificate is therefore valid throughout the European Union. This is an undeniable asset for confining construction sites in many countries, while ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with European standards.

Euroclass fire treatment.
Securiplast is the one of the best heat shrink wrap on the market. The film is made from a specific mixture of different grades of low density polyethylene, providing the film with excellent mechanical properties and good elasticity.
To obtain a fire-resistant film, we add “flame retardant” additives. The fire retardant agents that produce a flame retardant product is “harder to be worked” and should not be compared with non-fireproof heat shrink wrap.
