Alphatex produces all its heat-shrink films on extrusion heads where the die produces bi-oriented film in widths ranging from 4 to 14 meters (maximum).
Our expertise is offering bi-oriented films in 8 meters widths, with balanced shrinkage in both the width and length directions.
It is simpler and less costly to produce a film that shrinks more in length than in width. Alphatex chose to manufacture a high-quality film with bi-orient shrinkage.
Among our ranges, we offer a number of films with a flame-retardant treatment. Fireproof thanks to the flame retardants added to their composition, these films cannot inflame.

For the various applications, the thickness of the film is essential. The thicker the film is, the more resistant it is. However, very thick film is not necessary for packaging boats or equipment.
All Alphatex heat-shrink films have a treatment against UV. Thanks to light stabilizers type of HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer), polyethylene is protected from degradation due to heat and light.

The treatment against UV are calculated on the basis of 80Kly per year, corresponding to the exposure of the Paris area.
