Which scaffolding nets should you choose ?

It can be different mesh shape (rectangular or triangular), different weights (the heaviest the net is, the tighter are the mesh), fireproof or not… These features will impact your choice. What is the difference between triangular and rectangular mesh ?

Rectangular mesh

Rectangular mesh are open and non-stretchable. Thanks to this kind of mesh allows a quick installation because the fabric does not retract and follows he posts when unfolded.

At Alphatex, rectangular mesh nets are : ConsoRex, ComproRex et LongoRex.

Triangular mesh

Triangular mesh are tight, shading and extensible. The last point can be useful during the installation. Moreover, these kind of mesh are perfect for retaining fine or liquid spills.

OneRex | OneTex : the economical net for short-term scaffolding works

Description

The OneTex and OneRex nets of 35g/sqm are economical scaffolding nets. These nets will meet the needs of your works, thanks to the many sizes available.

Use

We recommend the use of these nets for short-term facade restoration (1 to 3 months). They are going to keep efficiently worksite tools and dust inside the scaffolding.

The OneRex has rectangular mesh, it is easy to install. On the other hand, OneTex has extensible triangular mesh, perfect to stop spills.

ConsoRex | ConsoTex : for 1 to 6 months scaffolding works

Description

Our ConsoTex and ConsoRex nettings are the most sold nets in Europe. The ConsoRex, with its rectangular mesh, is very popular on the French market because it saves time during installation while providing little windbreak. On the European market, the ConsoTex is the most sold. Elastic and tight, it can be adapted to all your scaffolding.

Use

We recommand the use of this net for works that will last one to six months. Thanks to its UV treatment, it will remain sturdy and efficient in Europe.

ComproRex | ComproTex : between 6 months and a year

Description

The Compro range (ComproTex and ComproRex) are blackout nets. With a weight between 68 and 70 g/sqm, these scaffolding nets are more resistant, and the mesh are tighter, than ConsoTex and ConsoRex (above).

Use

These nets are made for medium-term construction sites. It is the perfect product for works that will last between six months and a year.

LongoRex | LongoTex : reusable nets

Description

With a weight 100 g/sqm, LongoRex and LongoTex have a great tensile strength (about 730 kg/sqm).

Use

The robustness of the LongoTex and LongoRex are particularly appreciated by craftsmen because they can reuse the netting on many sites. It can be reused for one full year. To be noted: scaffolding rental companies use it as an alternative to woven fabric.

SupraTex – For sandblasting and hydro-rubbing works

Description

It is a scaffolding net with triangular mesh. These are very tight and have an important shading effect. In terms of finish, this net is made with side and double buttonholes in the middle.

Use

This net is used in the petrochemical industry and heat insulation. We recommand the use of the SupraTex for sandblasting, hydro-rubbing works and for activities that require a high amount of windbreak.

Editis : Net against climatic hazards

Description

Editis is a scaffolding netting woven from monofilament (round yarns) and tape (flat yarns). The mechanical strength, intensified by reinforcement strips, allows the net to be highly windproof and to protect the scaffolding from bad weather.

Use

Editis is the essential net for all your sandblasting and abrasive cleaning (called hydrogommage) sites. It has fine mesh that stop spills. Moreover, thanks to its mechanical resistance, the Editis has an effective windbreak (90%) and shading effect (75%). Therefore, it protects the worksite and workers against bad weather.

Editis Euroclass & Ignifurex : Fire retardant nets

Description

The fireproof scaffolding nets made by Alphatex comply with the standard Euroclass. This a European norm allowing you to know how materials react to fire. These nets (EDITIS Euroclass and Ignifurex) are classified “B S d”. Therefore, their use limits the risks of fire propagation. Moreover, fireproofing is made in the mass of the net, water does not remove the treatment.

Use

Our Euroclass fireproof scaffolding netting “non-flammable” are ideal for medium-term indoor construction sites or for work on historic buildings.
